As promised last week in the post on our new iPhone/iPad developments, now a brief look into our efforts in simplifying and improving the web-interface of KPI Dashboard.

The theme, as started in our previous release, is to have the indicator/scorecard list as the main interface to edit characteristics and add scores.

It’s also possible to select and install templates and integrations from within the application. Standard views such as key indicators, and best/worst indicators are easily selected. Advanced search functions are provided by narrow-by selections. Also in the next version it will be possible to personally ’star’ items for easy reference.

We’re busy improving the look & feel of KPI Dashboard. We’re focusing on improving the web user-interface and the interfaces of our mobile apps. Today a sneak-preview of the new iPhone app. In a follow-up blog post we will publish some previews of the web interface.

We have included some new features in the iPhone app:

1. Availability of breakdowns and aggregates of indicators.

2. Availability of messages.

3. Ability to personally bookmark indicators. We call this starring, and this bright new feature will be generally available in all our user-interfaces.

Next to some new features we have improved the graphing options in the iPhone app.

It’s here: As pre-announced a few weeks ago, we’ve now released the integration of KPI Dashboard with FreshBooks, Invoicing and Billing application. The FreshBooks Dashboard App is available in our KPI Dashboard Store.

The FreshBooks Dashboard app auto collects invoicing, billing, quotation and project management metrics from your FreshBooks account every single day and creates a set of dashboards. You can do powerful analytics over how long it takes to get your bills paid, your total outstanding bills, aging of your debtors, average invoice size, amounts invoiced, payments received, average estimate size and much more. We currently support FreshBooks customers who bill in USD - EUR - GBP - CAD or AUD.

If you are using FreshBooks, then try out this solution in the next 30 days. You may also want to consolidate all your company metrics, so check out some other integrations: Google Analytics, Highrise Zendesk, Twitter, and (soon to be released) Quickbooks. We have released another KPI Dashboard template in our Store. This template helps analyzing “billability” of employees. Download it for free from our Store to go with your KPI Dashboard subscription.
