Wisdom of crowds: 25% of KPIs now have benchmarking scores

by Erik Hoffmann on Jul 7th, 2009

We currently have benchmarking scores for 25% of KPIs listed in the library, collected in 3 months time. Amazing. This started as a test. We hoped we could use your wisdom and experience to collect some benchmarking scores. It turns out that many community members were willing to participate. Thank you.

KPI Library reaches 100.000 members!

by Erik Hoffmann on Jun 18th, 2009

Wow. This month we released over 100.000 members and we are still growing strong. This success is the result of a lot of hard work over the past 12 months. We launched a lot of new functionality in the last couple of months and many more new features and products are coming.

This year we launched Answers, Groups, Benchmarks and now the Expert Corner. We are very pleased to see that so many of you are using the benchmark functionality. We released this functionality in April and today 6% of all KPIs already have relevant benchmarking data!

Over the next months you can expect: * A new member homepage, much more personalized, allowing you to get more out of KPI Library * We are launching a new premium product: KPI Dashboard. KPI Dashboard is a web-based performance management solution fully integrated with KPI Library. * Vendor Corner: Find whitepapers and other marketing collateral by the worlds leading Performance Management vendors.

And off course we are always interested hearing from you what we should be working on. Let us know, drop an email to support@kpilibrary.com or simply respond to this post.

KPI Library News, January 25 2008

The KPI Library community is rapidly growing. More than 10,000 registered members are currently involved in building the largest repository of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The KPI Library currently has 800+ KPIs in 50+ categories such as supply chain, project management, human resources, IT and finance.

The KPI Library offers various ways to members to participate:

  • Submit your KPIs to be included in the library
  • Score KPIs to rate the importance of KPIs
  • Bookmark KPIs to build your personal KPI lists
  • Comment on KPIs to give your opinion

It is the objective of the KPI Library to be the single source for KPIs driven by its community members. The community decides which KPIs are best-rated and most-used.

Mirror42 Secures New Funding From Private Plus Fund and Solid Ventures

by Erik Hoffmann on Dec 27th, 2007

Capital Will fuel customer growth and International Expansion.

Amsterdam, Netherlands (PRWEB) December 20, 2007 — Mirror42, a next generation IT Intelligence Software vendor, today announced new funding as it continues to rapidly add customers worldwide. Founded in 2003, the company secured a Series A round of funding from Private Plus Fund and Solid Ventures. Mirror42 will use the capital to increase sales and marketing as well as continue product development to meet increasing customer demand.

“Mirror42 is a natural fit with our core portfolio strategy. Their unique web-based IT Intelligence Platform provides the company with significant potential for rapid international expansion and customer acquisition,” said Patrick Polak, Managing Partner of Private Plus Fund. “Given where they are in their growth, the strength of their offering, and Private Plus’ experience in the Business Intelligence market. Mirror42 is a perfect fit for our fund.”

Floris van Alkemade, Director of Solid Ventures added, “Mirror42 combines a clear value proposition with a fast growing market, great existing and potential partnerships with leading IT Management software companies, significant market traction, and an experienced management team. We’re confident that the strategy and execution of Mirror42 is capable hands.”

Mirror42 has recently experienced significant increases in demand for IT Intelligence solutions due to increased focus on Sourcing Strategies, Portfolio Management, ITIL Process Optimization and IT Maturity in corporate environments. The company’s next generation IT Intelligence software platform makes it possible to quickly consolidate metrics and manage KPI trends with data taken from multiple administrative, application, and infrastructure monitoring tools (from such vendors as HP Software, CA, IBM Tivoli BMC and others) that many organizations already have in use to quickly and easily produce IT management dashboards. This makes Mirror42 the ideal application for organizations that need to manage multiple suppliers, ITIL processes, or service and project portfolios.

“We are thrilled with the investment of Private Plus Fund and Solid Ventures. With this capital we can scale our international sales, marketing, and business development efforts more rapidly than through organic growth,” said Karel van der Poel, CEO Mirror42. “I’m looking forward to working side by side with the teams from Private Plus Fund and Solid Ventures as Mirror42 continues to grow.”
