New KPI Library feature: Find KPIs via tags
by Erik Hoffmann on Oct 28th, 2010We have released a new way of finding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in KPI Library. We have tagged listed KPIs, and now you can simply select KPIs based on tags. For example, if you look for KPIs on ‘budgets’ you simply select the relevant tag.

In the near future we will provide additional new features to improve searching for KPIs in KPI Library.

Top down, or bottom up?
by Erik Hoffmann on Oct 8th, 2010Read my expert article on KPI Library on two approaches in enabling business performance management:
I see two common approaches in enabling business performance management. The first is bottom-up: you have data from various systems, you marry them together, and you have a common set of business data, on which you base your reports and KPIs. The second approach is top-down: you first define what your data needs are, and then you try to figure how to get the data, if and when it exists.
