We are proud to announce the availability of Mirror42 version 4.4.
Highlights
Define multiple outlooks for KPIs
Multiple outlooks may be defined for KPIs. By using multiple outlooks operational daily/weekly
measurements can be visualized next to for example monthly management statements. Each outlook
has its own formula with its own set of metrics. By combining this feature with ‘period definitions in the
Metamart’ (see next) multiple outlooks can be easily defined. Note that if only one outlook is used, the
application will work, after upgrading, as specified in version 4.3.0.
Period definition in Metamart
By defining fixed schedules, the Metamart can be easily configured to collect for multiple periods such
as weekly, monthly and quarterly. Until version 4.3.0 multiple selection objects needed to be defined.
Note that period definitions do not need to be applied. After upgrading the application will work as
specified in version 4.3.0.
Live integration with KPILibrary.com
The integration with www.kpilibrary.com is a live integration. The advantage is that you can leverage all current KPI knowledge and transform it to your specific situation.
Storage of prefs.inc paramaters in database
Most parameters are now accesible from the web interface, because these parameters have been
transferred from files like prefs.inc, ldap.inc, etc. to the database. This allows administrators to change
settings without accessing the file system. Parameters like the Mirror42 database connection string will
remain in prefs.inc.
Value popup in charts
You can now hover over values in the charts in the monitors and portlets to see the exact value and
date.
Improvement of LOV usability
LOV fields have now an option to type the first characters of a name in which case immediately a
dropdown box is shown with the objects that have a name containing the entered substring. This
speeds up the search of domains, controls, organizations, etc. considerably.
Suspend dimension metrics
Dimension metrics can now be suspended. Suspended dimension metrics will not be collected.
Password expiration
Administrators can now set an password expiration date and set how many passwords are being kept
which cannot be used next time.
Compare setting for metric portlets
In a metric portlet with view type Chart you can add two other metrics to compare with the main metric of the chart.
Furthermore numerous smaller enhancements have been implemented.
