Recently Deloitte released the results of a global survey titled “In the dark II: what many boards and executives still don’t know about the health of their businesses”. It highlights that many board members and senior executives of some of the world’s leading companies are in the dark about the overall health of their organisation. They lack high-quality non-financial information that they can act upon.

May 30th 2007 saw the official launch of ITIL Version 3. Version 3 sees an evolution in the ITIL publications with a service lifecycle focus and a stronger emphasis on IT alignment with the business objectives.
